What did Jesus look like?

If Jesus existed, he was most likely a typical man of his time and place. That appearance has been researched and the results are above: Popular Mechanics, December 2002: “The Real Face of Jesus.”

This looks like a man who may have been from the middle east. Jesus was Jewish, all the Jewish people I have seen do not look like this guy at all. I am not an historian by any stretch of the imagination, but I am pretty sure this is not even close to what Jesus was like. This is typical of what happens when secular science tries to do non secular research.

I’m not sure what you mean by non-secular research. This is secular: what did a typical Jew look like in the future Palestine or Israel 2000 years ago? Any Jew you see now has had twenty centuries of adapting and possibly crossbreeding (through rape, if nothing else) with other populations. The Jews who went to Ethiopia are black. The Jews who went to Europe look European. What’s so surprising about that? It doesn’t make the research invalid.
