One delightful find in the blogosphere was badsiting, an Ontario geology blog. It discussed the underlying, not-so-stable geology on which people were obliviously plopping down buildings and facilities that need a stable base. The point was that Ontario is not all bad, but that there are bad spots and good spots. People need to be aware of them so that they can choose the good ones.
However, the topic was a bit sensitive for some and the blog has been quietly de-published by its owner. Too bad, I think selfishly: I was learning some basic Ontario geology.
