I happen to be reading a book about these fascinating cousins of ours. It's called "Our Inner Ape" by Frans De Waal. It's an easy read for those who get distracted by technical, field specific jargon. Bonobos are extremely affectionate, empathetic, and yes, sexual. I highly recommend the book.
