Open-source maps


Thanks to Harold Asmis at Ontario geofish for pointing out the OpenStreetMap site. It’s a user-created map wiki.

    I’ve just gone nuts on this site! I’ve done all of Weston, and surrounding areas. I go on much longer walks with the dog, just to run GPS tracks!

    I’m going to have to dig up our old GPS unit that LotStreetWiz bought for tracking his runs. It didn’t work well in Toronto — too many tall buildings.
