Immunization against infectious diseases

The new “Green Book” for the U.K. has been published this month.

This new edition presents latest information on vaccines and vaccination procedures for all the vaccine preventable infectious diseases that may occur in the UK. In particular it deals with those immunizations that are recommended for all children from birth to adolescence.

It’s available from this page as PDF files, chapter by chapter. (The chapters are frequently updated.) Almost every chapter has a graph like this for its disease:

Notice how the deaths drop from about 8,000 a year to none.
