“Freedom of the press belongs to the man who owns one.” The missing piece in the worldwide Web revolution is being able to keep track of those reams of documents we can write, print, or otherwise clutter our lives with.
For the last little while I’ve been working at a place where we actually bind our drafts instead of using a foldback clip on one corner. It’s so handy! We can turn pages. We can stand them on bookshelves. I want one of those binding machines! It takes only a few minutes punch the pages and thread them onto a coil, thus turning a stack of paper into a book. And when you’re finished with it, you can pull off the coil and recycle the paper.
