Unfortunately for the usability professionals, whose natural allies are the technical writers, they chose to hold their monthly meetings on the same night, so that a person can not regularly attend both meetings.
Our meeting tonight is an STC “Town Hall” community networking event to honour volunteers and encourage membership participation. With food and drink.
